While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I encountered behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was evident that upkeep was not a priority at this venue. The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of decaying beverages and filthy restrooms filled the entire venue . Emitting a scent of a mixture of human waste, a rotting odor and sickness . The counter , which should be the focal point of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and debris that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The lavatory was in even worse condition —overflowing , with a cracked flush mechanism and walls stained in what I can only assume was human excrement .

Going through other patrons’ reviews and talking to people around , it seems that the state of cleanliness (or lack thereof) at Masterson’s is a well-known flaw . Many customers have reported seeing bugs darting across the counter and evidence of rodent infestations in the storage spaces . For a business that provides refreshments , these issues are completely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the safety of anything they serve .
